PA & Events Assistant

Location: Maryculter, Aberdeenshire  

Salary: Based on experience. In region of £27k

Hours: Full-time 

Start Date: April 2024

The Role 

The successful candidate will be a key member of the team working directly with Araminta in her Aberdeenshire office. With exceptional organisational skills, the PA and Events Assistant will effectively manage Araminta’s schedule to ensure objectives are achieved.

The role will be dynamic working with our tight-knit team to ensure all aspects of the brand are correctly represented. Travel to our stunning atelier outside Edinburgh will be part of the role to ensure you are fully incorporated into the team.

 

Key Responsibilities 

You will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative support to Araminta, our Founder and Creative Director. Including, but not limited to:

  • Calendar and diary management
  • Inbox management: responding to and handling enquiries as delegated
  • Travel organisation, both national and international
  • General clerical support: expense claims, filing, data cleansing CRM system
  • Coordination of company events and photoshoots / filming
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the Aberdeenshire office

You should be able to evidence:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Expertise in planning and delivering successful events
  • Confidence when communicating with people at all levels
  • Resilience, calmness, and effectiveness under pressure
  • Willingness and availability to work flexibly including outside of normal working hours where necessary
  • Knowledge of HubSpot, Xero and WordPress would be advantageous, though not an essential requirement.

  • Experience or willingness to learn the fundamentals and intrinsic values of heritage-driven high craftsmanship
  • Familiarity and full understanding of our authentic and mindful concept of luxury, intended as a means of cultural and not purely commercial divulgation

 It is crucial that the candidate can develop a clear understanding of the core values, specific needs, goals and features of a premium craftsmanship-driven luxury brand; every approach should be equally artfully crafted, never standardized, ensuring that is coherent with our production philosophy and it resonates authentically with our discerning and attentive audience.

 The business is in a rural location so the successful candidate must be able to drive and have access to a car.

 The position is based in Araminta’s office, just outside Aberdeenshire, and there is the requirement to be available to travel into our Edinburgh Atelier when required.
