As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic Marketing and PR Executive to join our Team.

 

 

The Role

The successful candidate will be tasked with promoting our company and managing our public image.

We are seeking someone able to focus on ethical, transparent, and authentic communication to build long-term trust and reputation,

rather than purely sales-driven or heavily promotional commercial messaging.

It is crucial the candidate has experience in approaching people, talking to people, and has the interpersonal skills required to do this,

alongside the managerial skills required to build a network.

The candidate will work alongside colleagues across all business areas and will have first-hand exposure to the activities in each department.

The role will therefore be dynamic, working with our tight-knit team to ensure all aspects of the brand are correctly represented.

Flexibility in working hours, and travel within the UK and internationally will be essential.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

The main responsibilities our Marketing and PR Executive will be tasked with are:

 

Strategy
You will work alongside colleagues in sales and marketing to implement a PR strategy that is cohesive across multiple strands.

 

Content

You will write press releases, manage our social media, plan and execute PR campaigns, and support operational colleagues in the

production of various marketing materials including blog posts, newsletters, website copy and social media posts.

 

Media and Partner Relations

You will cultivate high-end, high-standard relationships with media partners to build long-term trust and reputation.

You will source and nurture mutually beneficial partnerships with industry colleagues.

 

Event Management & Strategy

AYou will work with colleagues in all departments to organise events and oversee our events calendar. Events include product launches, photoshoots and press visits.

You will represent our company at events, ensuring a consistent and positive brand image.

 

Communications

You will work with colleagues to create communication strategies and monitor use, ensuring consistent messaging across all aspects of our business.

 

Budgeting

You will input on our marketing budget and ensure consideration is given to return on investment is when creating strategy and scheduling activities.

 

Who You Are

To be successful, you should be able to evidence:

3+ years of experience in a similar role
Strong communication skills and the ability to convey the brand tone of voice.
A very keen eye for detail and beauty.
A flexible attitude towards supporting in other areas of the business.
The ability to multitask and meet deadlines, whilst maintaining strong attention to detail.
The ability to work autonomously within your own area of responsibility, and collaboratively with the rest of the team.
Full knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and content creation tools as well as META Business Suite, Shopify, WordPress, and Microsoft Office.
HubSpot experience would be beneficial, though not essential.
Line management experience would be beneficial, though not essential.
Experience in creating newsletters and blog posts.
Experience and understanding of the fundamentals and intrinsic values of heritage-driven high craftsmanship.

 

It is crucial that the candidate can develop a clear understanding of the core values, specific needs,
goals and features of a premium craftsmanship-driven luxury brand; every approach should be
equally artfully crafted, never standardised, ensuring that is coherent with our production
philosophy and it resonates authentically with our discerning and attentive audience.

The business is in a rural location so the successful candidate must be able to drive and have access
to a car.

The position is primarily based in South Queensferry, just outside Edinburgh. Travel will be essential within
the UK and internationally.
