We have always led the way when it comes to sustainability and traceability. In 2014 when our company was founded, and before sustainability became a buzz word, we were out in the field (no pun intended!), digging deep and laying our foundations in sustainability and traceability.
Araminta Campbell is looking for a talented part-time procurement manager to run all outsourced orders for the business and help continue pushing the business forward.Looking for an enthusiastic team player to join their small, tight-knit team, the successful applicant will be able to work collaboratively in a creative environment, sharing and developing ideas in a team setting to provide the best outcome for customers and the business.This is an exciting opening within a luxury textile brand synonymous with quality and timeless design.
Six months ago we began our journey alongside Araminta the alpaca, showcasing the journey of our textiles from their first step as a cria (a baby alpaca), through to shearing and on to the use of their fleece. By following Araminta, we hope not only to provide transparency but to also share some alpaca knowledge along the way.
HRH Camilla, Duchess of Rothesay has been spotted wearing a silk and cashmere tartan scarf by Araminta Campbell. This custom design was created for the Fife Arms Hotel, and gifted to HRH Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay when he opened the hotel in January 2019.
Craft Scotland selected Araminta Campbell as one of 8 Scottish makers to exhibit with them at Collect 2020. The exhibition opened in Somerset House on the 27th of February and ran until Sunday the 1st of March.
In celebration of Craft Week Scotland Araminta Campbell opens the doors to their luxury handweaving studio. Offering 60 minute virtual tours and live demonstrations the events will run from November 9th until November 14th.
On Thursday the 27th of February Araminta Campbell was announced as one of 12 Walpole Brands of Tomorrow 2020 during a glittering launch party at Ennismore Sessions House in London.
We love tweed. An incredibly versatile material, it has developed from humble origins to become a fabric that is prized by fashion designers, tailors, and even royalty. Combining sketch book and computer, natural colours and specialised machinery, here at Araminta Campbell we aim to stay true to those rural origins whilst developing a contemporary approach to bespoke tweed design and weaving.
