A brand built on the importance of heritage, when we started working on plans to renovate Duddingston , we were passionate about sympathetcially restroing the farmhouse, cherishing its features and history,
Stripping back to basics we unvieled an exquisite wooden floor.
Using Scottish craftsmen, the floor was cleaned, sanded and polished, restoring it to its former glory.
Now home to our looms, the beautiful space is our finishing room which sees centuries old skills finish our handowoven pieces.
Restoring the wooden staircase saw us take up the carpet and expose the wonderful wood before restoring it to its former glory.
A fabulous example of the Scottish baronial style with its slated roofs, angle turrets and pointed windows.
Warm tonal tiles have been buffed and polished for another century welcoming guests into the porch.
Preserving Duddingston’s history and heritage through carefully renovating the building, we hope that for centuries to come people will enjoy this exquisite building.
