As you can see our Quality Control Team at Araminta Campbell take their job very seriously but have given us the ‘paws up’ for our exquisite MINTA range. With this ultra luxury collection, we have captured the wilds of Scotland in the softest, silkiest cloth. The Minta collection is inspired by nature, with the designs depicting ferns, willows and woodland inkcap mushrooms but all made up in 100% undyed alpaca which unlike other luxury fabrics like silk and cashmere, we sustainably source from Britain. This is a limited edition with only 200 being made of each piece in artisan mills on the Scottish borders. Alpaca is not only exquisitely soft to touch, it is also hypoallergenic, but one of the best naturally insulating fibres, ensuring the wearer is kept cool in warm weather and warm in cold climes. Being a light fibre, alpaca also drapes beautifully, and this elegance adds that extra sophistication.
