Three of Scotland’s top luxury brands have come together to host a Winter shopping retreat like no other. Cromlix, the five-star country house hotel owned by Kim and Andy Murray, will host you for a two night stay; Araminta Campbell, the contemporary textile designer will provide a private shopping experience at her boutique atelier in Edinburgh; and Little’s Chauffeur Drive will transfer you in comfort throughout your stay.
As part of this celebration of Scottish heritage and craftsmanship, you will be treated to fine dining at The Glasshouse, Cromlix’s excellent restaurant and receive special gifts of an Araminta Campbell mini hot water bottle and a MODM beauty product.
Your trip will begin with a private chauffeur driven transfer from Glasgow or Edinburgh airport, taking you to the recently-refurbished Cromlix where you will stay in one of the hotel’s glorious Estate Rooms. Each of these five spaces has its own traditional features and delightful décor. Curl up on the enormous super king bed, admire the dreamy views and unwind in the sumptuous bathroom.
The first evening promises a heartfelt welcome at The Glasshouse Restaurant, where you can enjoy a three-course dinner, infused with the best locally sourced ingredients and in-season produce.
The following morning, after a restful night and a hearty breakfast at Cromlix, your chauffeur will take you to Araminta Campbell. Here you will step into a gothic-turreted atelier and peruse the collection of rare, British alpaca, handwoven textiles. This experience takes you behind the scenes, offering a rare opportunity to witness the artistry that goes into creating exquisite, woven scarves, throws and other luxury items using traditional skills.
Following a spree of indulgent shopping, you will have the chance to admire the beautiful Scottish scenery on your return to Cromlix. Settle into a cocoon of comfort beside the crackling fire, savour a glass of Scotland’s finest whisky and relax into the evening.
After a deep slumber, savour a full Scottish breakfast and a slow morning before it’s time for check-out. Your dedicated chauffeur will be ready for your departure, awaiting to drive you to either your final destination or the next captivating chapter of your journey.
